Oregon Optometric Physicians Association Installs Board Members and Hosts Award Ceremony

Oregon Optometric Physicians Association (OOPA) elected its 2026-2027 board of directors during its annual meeting held May 28-31 at Ko-Kwel Casino in Coos Bay, Oregon.

Those elected to the board include:

• President - Emilee Nehring, O.D. (Woodburn Vision Source, Woodburn, OR)
• President-Elect - Shaina Sullivan, O.D. (Coos Eye Centers, Bandon, OR)
• Immediate Past-President - Craig Bowen, O.D. (Tualatin Eye Associates, Tualatin, OR)
• Senior Past-President - Ashley McFerron, O.D. (Canby Eyecare, Canby, OR)
• Secretary/Treasurer - Yelena Galuza, O.D. (Woodburn Vision Source, Woodburn, OR)
• Senior Board Member - Mila Ioussifova, O.D. (South Waterfront Eye Care, Portland, OR)
• Board Member at Large - Morgan Grove, O.D. (Coos Eye Centers, Bandon, OR)
• Board Member at Large - Erin Dalton, O.D. (Eye to Eye Clinic, West Linn, OR)

The Annual Awards ceremony recognized the following:

OOPA is a statewide organization comprised of doctors of optometry, college of optometry faculty, optometric students, and industry-related associates. OOPA is an affiliate of the AOA.
