Oregon Optometric Physicians Association Installs Board Members and Hosts Award Ceremony

Oregon Optometric Physicians Association (OOPA) elected its 2025-2026 board of directors during its annual meeting held April 10-13 at Riverhouse Lodge in Bend, Oregon.
Those elected to the board include:
President - William Hefner, OD (Pacific University College of Optometry, Forest Grove, OR)
President-Elect – Emilee Nehring, OD (Woodburn Vision Source, Woodburn, OR)
Immediate Past President – Craig Bowen, OD (Tualatin Eye Associates, Tualatin, OR)
Senior Past President – Nicole Rush, OD, (Coos Eye Centers, Bandon, OR)
Secretary/Treasurer – Yelena Galuza, OD (Woodburn Vision Source, Woodburn, OR)
Board Member at Large –Dr. Mila Ioussifova (South Waterfront Eye Care, Portland, OR)
Board Member at Large – Jessica Tegen, OD (Madras Vision Source, Madras, OR)
Board Member at Large – Shaina Sullivan, OD (Charles McBride, Optometrist, Beaverton, OR)
The Annual Awards ceremony recognized the following:

Special Industry Award – Kelly Asbra (Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation, Portland, OR)

OOPA is a statewide organization comprised of doctors of optometry, college of optometry faculty, optometric students, and industry-related associates. OOPA is an affiliate of the AOA.
